Celal Burak Ozgul (CBO) is an Istanbul raised, Berlin based cinematographer who grew up at the crossroads of worlds, in a city where centuries of European and Middle Eastern cultures collide and dozens of ethnic traditions have long shared the same streets. That richness of culture and contradiction runs through everything he makes.

His commercial work spans brands such as Adidas, Ford, Carrefour, Jeep, Mustang, Philips, Turkcell, Pantene, ASUS, Bridgestone, ASICS, Guess Watch, MacFit, and ELLE — shot across Los Angeles, Paris, Istanbul, Copenhagen, Milan, Barcelona, Dubai, and Moscow. His work with Carrefour earned 11 awards at Kristal Elma and a Gold Lion and Bronze Lion at Cannes Lions 2025.

As a member of IMAGO, the European Federation of Cinematographers and the Cinematographers' Association of Turkey, CBO approaches every project with the same conviction: that a single frame, crafted with intention, can outlast the story it tells.
